We have some Great News for Trace!!!
The Marcus Whitman Chapter will be returning back to the same location & Venue for Trace this year. Last year as many in the Chapter know, our long standing location Pine Creek was inaccessible due to the flooding & spring runoffs in the mountains. We had to come up with another location that could accommodate all of us, allow for the shooting of the Black Powder rifles and be pretty much not bothered.
With the help of the Park Rangers, we found Bake Oven Flats outside of Yakima, WA.
Everyone of the Chapter members who attended last year's Trace event really enjoyed our new location. The overall comment we heard was "we'd like to come back here again!" So our Chapter President Double Eagle, contacted the Park Rangers to see if we could work out another visit. The Park Rangers mentioned that they really appreciated that we took good care of the location.
So make sure you tell everyone that are current and past FCF members to come and join us this year for Trace! Bake Oven Flats is awaiting our return.
